A small band of Hartford Teens journeyed to New Haven, Connecticut on Wednesday evening to view some ancient Biblical manuscripts in the Yale Beinecke Museum that dated back to the 3rd century.  One of the texts was "papyrus 49", which consisted of Ephesians 4:16-29 & Ephesians 4:31-5:13 and translated in its original Greek.  The other text was "papyrus 50", and that was Acts 8 & Acts 10.

The 9am worship service (led by the teens of the church) witnessed an incredible baptism of an elderly woman by the name of Mildred, someone whom the teenagers met just 7 or 8 months earlier.

The Hartford Youth & Family Ministry held a teen-led worship service on Feb. 6, 2011 for both worship times (9 & 11:30am) and it was filled with the joy of an incredible baptism, a special song, and teens sharing from the heart.  But this was no ordinary service.  (Please click on “read more” to see videos & pictures of the event)
